What is the difference between Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and IBM Watson?

Interesting Q&A/blog on the RPA/Watson definition…

e.g. “IBM Watson utilizes cognitive technologies (natural language processing, Machine Learning, etc…) to learn and apply that learning outside of the original context. This is like RPA, but instead of setting up rigid definitions and rules for the robots to follow, Watson is able to “make up” its own rules. Watson falls under the category of Intelligent Automation (IA), which is simply RPA with cognitive technologies influencing how the automation operates.”
